Our Vision

The Church of the Good Shepherd (CGS Philippines), we are passionately committed to fulfilling the vision of winning souls and making disciples, intentionally obeying the command of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19–20, which says:


“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:19–20 (NIV)

This vision drives everything we do — from sharing the Gospel, nurturing believers in their faith, and equipping them to lead others to Christ. We believe that through intentional discipleship and wholehearted obedience to God’s Word, we can transform lives, families, and communities for the glory of God.

Meet our Primary Leaders

CGS Primary Leaders

Meet the CGS Primary Leaders—the key leaders and core team of CGS Philippines—faithfully mentored by our Senior Pastor Ramy Henares Jr. for men and Pastora Adelia Henares for women. Rooted in the Word of God, 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others,” these leaders are committed to raising others who will also lead.

We believe that truly leading a church is not a one-man function; rather, the success of the journey comes through strong cell groups led by different individuals who serve as one team, united by one vision and one purpose.

CGS Satellite Churches We are blessed to have three CGS satellite churches in different locations, each faithfully led by diligent pastors. Though in different places, these churches remain united as one CGS family—sharing the same vision, mission, and commitment to spreading the Gospel and discipling lives.
